ABOUT CASSIE

Cassie Price's road to eventing started at the age of four. By the time she was eight a 14.2hh mare had given her the commitment to the sport that enabled her to compete in her first BE (British Eventing) event at the age of 17.

Ever since she was 14 Cassie knew all she wanted to do was to be an event rider and so began grooming for Leslie Law (Olympic Gold Medallist, 2004) and Tina Cook (Olympic Bronze & European Gold Medallist, 2009

ABOUT

Cassie Price

4 STAR International Event Rider & Team

Cassie is now based in the Cotswolds where she has built up and runs her 5* livery yard, alongside producing event horses and teaching clients on their own horses. She also travels to clients’ private bases and training facilities, as well as regularly running clinics with the local VWH Riding Club. She is a very popular trainer in the area and is incredibly passionate about training riders and their horses, helping them both grow in confidence and enjoy and succeed in whatever their goals may be. She is always happy to offer help, support and advice, and is very much an attention to detail person, which shows in the training of her horses through their confidence, education and careers.

Cassie is supported by her partner Lucy and together they form an incredibly strong team, both on the yard in day to day yard work and training with the horses, and also when away at competitions. It's vital to have that back up and support, and Cassie definitely has that with Lucy.

Support on the yard is an incredibly important day to day role within the team, Cassie prides herself on running a very organised yard to ensure all the horses are on top form, happy and secure in their environment and routine. Rosie and Cicely play a very important part in the team helping Cassie part time on the yard day to day and when she is away competing, this gives Cassie peace of mind that all is running smoothly at home and enables her to focus on the competition.
